1. There is no stopping-place for you this side of Glory
After you have started in the way;
No stopping-place, for a sinner saved by grace
Is busy for the Master ev'ry day.
Now the life you live will tell salvation's Story
To be faithful, you must labour Watch and pray
There is no stopping place for you this side of Glory
There is no place for you to loiter by the way.

2 When you have sought the Lord and found
His true salvation
At His feet your burdens you'll lay down
And you'll find peace and a joy that ne'ver
shall cease
To all your hopes and efforts surely crown;
Then as daily you are following your Master
And as hourly you are growing in His Grace,
You'll see and know as you are walking in
His footsteps
That here below you cannot find a stooping place.
