1. Daniel was a man of prayer,
Daily prayed he three times,
Till one day they had him cast,
In the den of Lions,
Even then in the den,
Fears could not alarm him,
God just shut the Lions' mouths,
So they could not harm him

2. There were three Hebrew children,
Cast to fiery furnace,
For they would not bow to
Ne-buchad-nezzar's image,
Though hot the, fire was,
Their garments were not burnt,
Because Christ, the Son of God,
Was in the fire with then.

3. He who wants to have the power,
Of God in his life,
Must be very pra...yerful,
Morning, noon and evening,
My dear friend, pray always,
Unceasing, unweary,
For pray'r is the Christians rod,
By which he walks with God.
