Verse 1
Come, let us join our cheerful songs
With angels round the throne;
This day that Jesus found
And ordained as His own.

Verse 2
This day the God of heaven blessed,
Out of the seven days;
A type of rest unto the blessed,
A type of heavenly days.

Verse 3
So, let us sing unto His name
And hope on for the day;
When Jesus shall come in His fame,
And end all earth's vain way.

Verse 4
Ever more till His grace He brings
We shall to Jesus sing
Let's keep rejoicing in the Lord,
For ever in His word.
