Verse 1
Behold the mercy seat
Thy word it bids me near,
There Jesus His favour displays
That He may answer prayers.

Verse 2
The Lamb's atoning blood,
He shed on Calvary
Provides an intercession for
Those who will seek the Lord.

Verse 3
Thou art ready to give,
More than all I may ask
He gives to those who seek His face,
More than they e'er request.

Verse 4
Give us Thy image Lord
Thy favour grant to us,
Give me the grace to serve Thee here,
That I may dwell with Thee.
