Almighty God, send out Thy light
To Thy children, we pray
That we may love and worship Thee
From childhood till old age.

For we have sinned and are all blind
Walking the way of death,
In our hearts and all our actions
We are Thy enemies.

Taught by our close friend and teacher
We are under control;
Taught to come near and seek Thy face
We cannot seek in vain.

Unto the hills we'll lift our eyes
From whence come salvation,
O Sun of Righteousness arise
To heal and make us whole.

Arise and shine in this dark world
Keep shining ever more
Until we shall grow to old age
