Verse 1
A lowly heart that seeks pardon
Thro' the precious blood of Christ,
Come and know the revelation
Of the smile that Jesus gave.

Verse 2
Hear the blessed Saviour calling
Listen to His divine voice,
Do not fear what ill may betide
When, His way, you have chosen.

Verse 3
Jesus Christ said, `Go and baptise
Those who believe in my name`
The Lord was also once baptised
In muddy River Jordan.

Verse 4
Let us follow His footsteps here;
Follow Him, do not tarry,
Receive His commandments with joy,
Behold, He has led the way.
