We would praise Thee, our great helper
Whose love remains for e'er the same
Under whose care the year began
And unto the end of the same.

Through thousands of dangers and snares
We can still stand under Thy care
When we look back upon the past.
We have reasons to praise Thy name

Lord, so fare hath Thy hand led us
So far, we report Thy mercy
As we walk on our feet tonight,
Thy mercy asks for a new song.

When our souls safe on Jordan's shore
They shall set up a new mile stone,
And when they reach Thy courts above
