Day 1

Arrival and Welcome Program

Rev. Isaac Adigun and Sister Stella Adigun arrived at Ilorin via Air Peace at 7:55 AM. They were warmly welcomed at the airport by Rev. F.S. Fadipe, Sister Kike Fadipe, zonal pastors, ministers, and saints.

At the Kwara Area Headquarters (Agbo Oba), Sunday School children sang a welcome song and presented a bouquet. A short reception followed, including choir renditions, a duet, and a welcome address by Rev. Fadipe. The Superintendent inspected church facilities, noting the impressive infrastructure but emphasizing the need for efcient utilization and maintenance.

 

Day 2

Church Visits in Surburban Areas

  • Shao Church: Welcomed with songs and fowers. A brief history of the church, which began in 1995, was shared. Facilities inspected included an uncompleted building.
  • Ganmo Church: Despite the pastor’s absence, a warm reception included choir renditions and a children’s program. Facilities inspected included a church extension and ongoing children’s hall project.
  • Tanke Oke-Odo Church: Known for its proximity to the University of Ilorin. The Superintendent appreciated the church's growth, emphasizing its potential as a "mega church."

Day 3

Sunday School Teachers Conference and Service

  • Teachers’ Conference: Focused on the importance of Sunday School reviews and teacher preparation. Manuals and handbooks were distributed.
  • Sunday Service: The Superintendent’s sermon, based on 1 Samuel 1:17, emphasized God’s power to answer prayers. Many attendees prayed fervently, with visible spiritual blessings.

A special session with students of higher institutions was held, followed by a meeting with gospel workers to discuss responsibilities and address questions.

Day 4

Visit to Apostolic Faith Secondary School, Egosi Ile

  • Cashew Plantation: The 82.29-hectare farm was inspected. While only 34% is utilized, all legal documents are in place.
  • Apostolic Faith Secondary School: Welcomed by students and staf. Concerns about their uncompleted chapel were discussed, and encouragement was given for its completion.

Palace Visit: The Elegosi, HRM Oba Daniel A. Dada, requested the fulfllment of a past promise to establish a satellite campus of Crawford University. The Superintendent acknowledged the request and shared the church's current economic constraints.

Day 5

Visits to Omu Aran

The team inspected the reconstruction of the church building and prayed for its swift completion. The congregation expressed gratitude, and Rev. Adigun encouraged them to remain steadfast.

Farewell with Saints in Ilorin

Conclusion and Departure

The visit concluded on Tuesday, November 26. Despite a delayed fight, the Area Overseer and brethren were present at the airport to bid farewell.

The visit fostered spiritual revival, strengthened fellowship, and addressed developmental needs in Kwara Area. Eforts to enhance church infrastructure and activities remain ongoing.
