Report on the 2026 Camp Meeting of Apostolic Faith Church, Democratic Republic of Congo, held July 5 to 19

THEME: LIBERATION….. “THOU ART LOOSED” (LUKE 13:12)

INTRODUCTION
The camp meeting took place at the Church campgrounds named Faith City. It was preceded by prayers, outreach services and mobilization of members all over the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

DELEGATIONS

Delegates from London, Angola, Congo Brazzaville, Interior part of DRC and all the branches in DRC were in attendance.

MINISTERS AND WORKERS’ CONFERENCE

Ministers and Workers Conference titled “Working Together with God” as recorded in 2 Corinthians 6:1-10 was held on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. Brothers Leon Guba, the Country Overseer and Ndombe Heritier, were the main facilitators. Several topics were treated from the Ministers’ manual and Workers’ Hand book. At the end of the conference, all the workers went on their knees to ask God for the grace to work with Him and their fellow men. It was the beginning of revival.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School lessons titled “The Mustard Seed and the Leaven, “Faith That Brought Results” and “The Healing of the Gadarene Demoniac” were taught in French and Lingala languages. The classes were divided into four groups, to ensure the lessons were easily understood by different age groups present.. There was a review at the end of each lesson.

DEVOTIONAL SERVICES

Sunday, July 5, 2026

The service started with orchestration, then choir inspiring songs titled “Clap Your Hands All Ye People”, followed by a semi-choir rendition “Nothing Is Impossible”. Afterward, the congregation was invited to sing to the glory of God, using hymns 34, 504, and 161. The special hymn was "Glorious Freedom," followed by the sermon delivered by Bro. Léon GUBA

The sermon titled "Broken and Set Free," was taken from Exodus 8:5-8 and John 11:1-3. The preacher assured the people that the God they have come to meet is a God with whom there is no impossibilities. He narrated the story of Lazarus and the resurrection power of Jesus. He declared that God has heard the cries of the Church in the DRC and had come down to set them free. He added that the time of resurrection has come and all dead in sin and trespasses would be resurrected, and it would be a resurrection of joy. With that, he invited the seekers to the altar..

The service started with orchestration, then the choir rendered a beautiful song titled ‘Magnificent’, followed by a song by the Youth choir titled, "OYE", This was followed by congregational songs, Hymns 664, 681, and 602.

The special hymn was "Victory in Jesus," after which a sermon was delivered by Brother Alphonse Lokwa (Pastor of the Selembao church). He drew his sermon from Exodus 6:1-3. The theme was "The deliverance promised by the Lord". He exhorted the congregation, saying that what God did to Pharaoh, He will also do to all our challenges. He encouraged the people to seek God with all their hearts and experience the mighty power of Good in their lives. There was an altar call and many rushed to the altar and were blessed

Last Sunday, July 22, 2026

The devotional service began with an organ solo, followed by the choir singing "The King Rejoices," and then a quartet, "My God Will Do It Again." Afterward, the congregation sang Hymns 34, 484, and 16. After the announcement, the choir sang "Delivered," and then the special hymn, "Blessings."

Bro. Léon Guba Pakasa took his text from Exodus 14:14-15. The theme of the sermon was “The Rod of Deliverance”.

He exhorted the congregation, saying that the God who has been with them throughout the convention, will continue to deliver them from all evil, just as He did for the children of Israel at the Red Sea. God said, “The Egyptians you see now, you will see them no more”. Jesus is our staff of deliverance. Jesus will give us victory over all things. He ended the sermon with an invitation to the altar and many prayed through to victory.

EVENING REVIVAL SERVICES

The evening services witnessed great revival as many preachers declared the Word of God.

BIBLE TEACHINGS

The Bible teachings given during this convention were as follows:

“The Great Redemption,” taught by Brother Kitoko Mboloko. The main texts were: Hebrews 9:12; Galatians 3:13; “Christian Forgiveness,” by Brother Moke Ngame Tharcisse.The main texts were: John 3:7; 1 John 3:9; 2 Corinthians 6:14-16; Matthew 18:15-18; “ Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire” by Brother Marc Tsambi. The main texts: Acts 1:4-8; Acts 7:54-56; John 16:13-14; “The True Disciple” by Brother Lokwa Asanga Alphonse. Key texts: Matthew 22:14; Matthew 7:21-23; “The Christian Home,” taught by Brother Nkanza Lowa. Key texts: Genesis 18:17-19; Joshua 24:15; Romans 16:3-5; “Eternal Heaven and Eternal Hell,” by Brother Guy Galema Mudikosi. Key text: Matthew 25:41, 46; Luke 16:22-25; “Tithes and Offerings” by Brother Robert Mukenge. Key texts: Hebrews 7:1-2; 2 Chronicles 24:4-8; Leviticus 27:30-32; Genesis 14:18-20; 28-20; Malachi 3:7-11; Luke 21:10-11; 1 Corinthians 11:22; Proverbs 3:9-10).

YOUTH ACTIVITIES

Several activities were organized according to the established schedule, including: youth service, a forum, a special program for teenagers, a soccer match, and other spiritual, educational, and recreational activities. All these activities took place in an atmosphere of peace, fellowship, and joy, to the glory of God.

Children Programs

The Sunday School children, as usual, met on the three Sundays of our camp meeting according to their established programs and with their teachers and supervisors. They also met during the week on Tuesdays and Thursdays according to their worship schedules.

TESTIMONIES

Many testified to God's blessings in their lives. A brother testified of a student who lost his sight and could not speak, but when he was prayed for, God healed him.

A Sister testified of how she was healed of HIV. She said, “I came to this church after my husband passed away, as we had both been diagnosed as HIV-positive by the doctor. Fearing I would die of AIDS, I sought refuge at the church. I spoke with the pastor, who told me that our God is powerful enough to cure me of AIDS. I waited patiently in prayer, and Jesus forgave me my sins, sanctified me, and baptized me with the Holy Spirit. I persevered in prayer, and God cured me of AIDS.

When I went to the hospital for my appointment, after the tests, the doctor found nothing. He declared that the disease had disappeared, and I am still in good health.

Another brother (a chorister), testified how the money stolen from him by bandits was miraculously returned. He has this to say. “I thank God because when I confessed my sins, God forgave me, sanctified me, and baptized me with the Holy Spirit. He made me His servant in the vineyard. I praise Him for an experience He shared with me. One day, after the music rehearsal held till late in the night, as I was going home, I encountered bandits who stole everything I had. Before my very eyes, they snatched my wallet, took out the money inside, and threw the empty wallet at me. I was going home praying, very disheartened.” But to my great surprise, when I got home, a voice told me to take my wallet out of my pocket and open it, and I found the money inside, just as it had been, nothing missing. I understood that it was God who had done this.

WATER BAPTISMAL SERVICE

On Friday, July 17, 2026, the water baptism service was held and 91 people were baptized.

HOLY COMMUNION AND FOOT WASHING

About 111 Saints participated in this Ordinance service. It was a time of fellowship and joy. God visited His people.

OTHER CAMP MEETING ACTIVITIES

Adult Music Concert

A musical concert was held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, with an audience of 520 people, during which God poured out blessings.

Children's Concert

A children's concert was held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, with an audience of 554 people. Many souls were touched by God.

Evangelistic Campaigns

Each day, selected workers conducted evangelistic outreach in targeted locations in the villages surrounding the camp grounds.

There were also Meetings and Seminars: Seminar for Pastors and Ministers on Evangelism and the Work of the AVS (Association of Visiting Secretaries); Seminars for Sunday School Teachers; - Seminar for Finance Officers and Seminar on Primary Health care.

Charity Day

Charitable activities were held on Monday, July 13 as part of efforts to bring smiles to the faces of the Church faithful.

The First Country Overseer, Rev. M'Bengani Kalundandiko S.P., was the first to be honored with a certificate of merit and gifts in recognition of his significant work in the DRC. He expressed his profound gratitude for this gesture. Following this, many Church members came to collect free ready-to-wear clothing. The atmosphere was lively at the camp, where joy and satisfaction were evident on the faces of many. Retired mothers of the Church: Sisters Doloka Mboloko, Dibine Kitia, and Martine Kipey, were honored with certificates of merit and gifts by the same group for their services as midwives.

Peak Attendance and Blessings Received

The peak attendance was 1,357 and total number of blessings recorded was 489 -140 saved, 48 sanctified, 34 baptized with the Holy Spirit, 111 Re-anointed, 35 healed, and 125 other blessings.

CONCLUSION

We thank God that this year's camp meeting was held from July 5 to 19, 2026, at our campsite in the City of Faith, with the theme: "Liberation"... “Thou art Loosed” (Luke 13:12).

It benefited from the presence of many people. Almost the majority of our churches in the interior were represented, along with some delegates from Congo-Brazzaville and one delegate from London. Everything took place in a spiritual atmosphere for which we thank God, despite the financial difficulties.

God provided food until after the camp meeting; a large portion of the stock remained. However, there are still challenges to overcome in the future. We thank God for covering the travel expenses of our delegates who came from afar. We also thank God for bringing back safely a considerable number of our delegates from the interior of the country.

We thank all the pastors for their involvement in the success of this convention, especially regarding raising awareness among the faithful who actively participated in organizing it. We believe that through your prayers, our camp grounds, the City of Faith, will be even better equipped to accommodate a larger number of people, as the challenges are enormous.

We truly appreciate the various pieces of advice provided by the WECA Headquarters. May the Lord bless them and continue to inspire our Leaders.
