The Elementary Department's heartfelt gesture began with a beautiful bouquet of flowers presented to the DS, symbolizing their warm welcome. Sunday Service (Mothers Day) – May 11, 2025
The Sunday School Service was conducted by Bro Joseph Akoki while the opening Prayer was taken by Sis. Grace Amongbonjaye. The topic of the lesson, "The Call of Jesus Disciples" was taught by Bro. Joseph Akoki while the review was taken by Bro. Samson Ogunsola and the closing prayer was taken by Sis. Bimpe Akoki, after which the congregation went on their kneel to pray.
The Morning Devotional Service was conducted by the DS titled This is The Day with text selected from Psalms 118:24. The sermon centered on the liberation of the children of Israel from the bondage of Egypt. Two other incidents were used to describe the day of blessing: one was the story of Zaccheaus who climbed the sycamore tree to see Jesus and Jesus said unto him “this day” was salvation entered into your House. Then was the story of the woman with the issue of blood whose chance of meeting with Jesus Christ made the day, ‘a day of blessing.’ The congregation was encouraged to do as the woman did, with a purpose, believing that Jesus will recognize them specially and make the day special for them. This was the charge that made the congregation to troop to the altar. The altar response was very overwhelming, and people prayed till they were raised by the sound of the organ for Group Photograph.
The family forum followed shortly, during which series of family issues and the need for husband and wife to do what the bible instructed in Ephesian 5: 1and 2 was emphasized. Several questions were asked by the attendees, and all were answered by the DS, through the guidance of the holy spirit.
Peak Attendance was: 73
