EXECUTIVE SUMMARY REPORT OF EDO/DELTA AREA CAMPMEETING: (14TH TO 21ST DECEMBER, 2025), WITH THE THEME: “LIBERATION… THOU ART LOOSED” –LUKE 13:12
INTRODUCTION:
A 9-day Area Camp Meeting was proposed and approved by WECA to hold between 14th to 21st December, 2025 at Apostolic Faith Church, No 1 Akugbe Street, Off Upper Siluko Road, Useh Quarters.
Camp meeting was last held in Edo State in 2024 with Edo hosting the camp meeting alone, under the leadership of Reverend Emmanuel Mboma. After six years of not holding a joint camp meeting, God revived Edo/Delta Areas through the leadership of Rev. Isaac Adigun and directives was given to Rev. Emmanuel Mboma and Rev. Segun Adeliyi to bring another joint area camp meeting into existence.
The camp meeting was designed to achieve the following objectives:
- To revive the churches in Edo and Delta Area.
-To enable Brethren who could not attend the annual national camp meeting have a taste of camp meeting
-To further strengthen the bond which exist among brethren in Edo Area both in Edo North, Edo South and all of Delta Areas
PREPARATION
The fixing of the tiles in the main auditorium and Prayer room was completed and also the installation of Suspended ceiling windows in the new building was completed and the platform was erected, other areas for campers was prepared for camping. The AFSS building was prepared for the campers.
ARRIVAL OF CAMP DELEGATES
Workers started arriving on Thursday 11th December while the other workers arrived very early on Friday 12th December for the workers conference while other campers arrived later.
WORKER CONFERENCE
The Ministers’ and Workers´ Conference held on December 12th as part of the pre-camp activities for the Edo Area Camp Meeting was a significant event. Coordinated by Rev. Michael Oroleye, with support from Rev. Segun Adeliyi and Rev. Emmanuel Mboma. The conference focused on preparing the ministers and workers for the upcoming camp meeting.
The conference featured various sessions aimed at equipping the attendees with spiritual and practical insights. Topics covered included:

The sessions were interactive, allowing participants to share their experiences and learn from one another. The conference concluded with a powerful prayer session, setting a positive tone for the upcoming camp meeting. After lunch, there was another prayer session for all between 5PM to 6PM. Overall, the conference was well received and left the attendees inspired and ready for the camp meeting. Attendance was 156.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS CONFERENCE
Brother Ededem Asuquo reviewed lesson 49 – Moses assumes His Responsibility on the first Saturday (13th December 2025) of the camp meeting while Bro Abel Unuero reviewed the second lesson (lesson 51) for the camp meeting on the last Saturday (20th December 2025)

CHILDREN PROGRAMME: The elementary children from Edo Area took trilled the congregation on the first Sunday with a short program taaged “THOU ART LOOSED” while those from Delta Area took charge during the second Sunday with short playlet on “TOTAL LIBERATION”.
SUNDAY DEVOTIONAL SERVICES
FIRST SUNDAY: The Devotional Service started with a wonderful orchestra presentation while the opening prayer was said by Bro Peter Nwakaji (Agenebode branch Pastor, Edo Area). The announcement was made by the Overseer (Rev. Emmanuel Mboma) while the Bible reading by Bro Monday Onatere (Zonal Coordinator, Ughelli Zone) was taken from Luke 10:10-13. The sermon titled “THOU ART LOOSED” was preached by Rev. Michael Oroleye.
He emphasize on the ability of the power of God being capable of losing us from all shackles of sin, delivering souls from the oppression and that will bring peace and blessing to the people of God.
First Sunday of the Camp
SECOND SUNDAY: The sermon titled “The Glorious Hope of the Saints” was preached by the Delta Area Overseer Reverend Segun Adeliyi where he emphasized the glory that awaits the saints and the things we’ll enjoy when we get to heaven when we get to heaven. He highlighted getting the 3 Christian experiences as a starting point to join the saints who will inherit the kingdom of God when He will come back again to take us.

MORNING BIBLE TEACHINGS.

Rev Segun Adeliyi taught "The Power of Atonement". The teaching was culled from Hebrews 9:22. In the sermon he emphasize on the efficacy in the blood of Jesus and how it can deliver from sin, heal all divers of sickness, solve all problems and many more. He encouraged everyone to earnestly seek God through faith and to ensure that they get their three Christian experiences as this is the foundation of every Christian's life.

The Officiating Minister Reverend Emmanuel Mboma (Edo Area Overseer) gave a sermon titled "Christian Forgiveness". He made the congregation know that this is a practical teaching and as Christians, we should imbibe the act of forgiveness no matter who offends us or the extent of the offence committed.

The teaching which was titled, "Inexhaustible and Comprehensive power of God” was taught by Sis Modupe Asokhia (Zonal Cordinator, Ekpoma Zone, Edo Area). The teacher took her text from 1 Chronicles 29:10-12 and extenstively explain the power of God stating that all Power in heaven, on the earth, under the earth and seas belongs to God Almighty, and His power is encompassing and is forever and ever

The teaching taught by Reverend Monday Onatere (Zonal Coordinator, Ughelli Zone, Delta Area) titled "Triumphant Soldier Through Grace Christian Standard" took His text from Joshua 5:13 . He stressed on the criteria of becoming a Christian Soldier by subjecting one’s self to total submissiveness and obedience and also been subjected to prayerfulness and envangelism. And with the grace of God guiding us, a Christian solider will be able to achieve all that is expected of them.

Bro Anniversary Diemesor(Pastor, Igbobazuwa Branch, Edo Area) used some Bible references to explain the importance of Water Baptism by immersion. After the teaching, the minister and those for water baptism went out for it while songs continue until all were baptized and returned to the tabernacle. A total of 64 persons were baptized (37 females and 27 males). There was smilling faces all around as newly converts came out of the water.
Ordinance Service : It opened with CGS 596”. Rev. Charles Atagwu taught the Lord’s Supper and everyone knelt down praying before they received the Lord’s Supper. After that session, Rev Peter Nwakaji taught the washing of the saint’s feet then everyone went down picked a partner and observed it in remembrance of our Lord Jesus. A total of 146 persons participated.

EVENING REVIVAL AND EVANGELISTIC SERVICES
Preachers at every evening gave a reviving sermons that turned heart to pray through. They are Bro Sunday Orhovwiare, Bro Moses Odiase, Bro Jerimoth Ekelemu, Bro Tunde Akintola.

YOUTH PROGRAMME
Youth services was held 2:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with youth ministers in charge are Bro James Ubong (Delta Area Youth Leader), Bro Moses Aragbonfo (Edo Area Youth Leader), Bro Segun Ogundeji (Delta Area Youth Secretariat Head) and Bro Joshua Omowale (Former Youth Outreach head, Edo Area). Our youths were fully engaged throughout the camp period.

EVANGELISM
Early morning cry was done by the youth and street meeting was done in the afternoon before the evening services.
TESTIMONY SERVICES
Testimonies from blessed individuals was inspiring and soul filling and the various zones and department had opportunity to testify of the power of God in their lives.
THE CHRISTMAS CONCERT started 3pm with the presentation of wonderful pieces to the glory of God.

Rev. Emmauel Mboma led the congregational song while the opening prayer was said by Bro Monday Onatere. The intermission was beautiful led by Rev Michael Oroleye where he stressed the essence of the Christmas session and how the brith of Jesus brought hope into the world.

Conclusion:
The 2025 Edo Area Camp Meeting was a spiritually uplifting event, characterized by strong leadership, diverse religious activities, and a deep sense of community and thanksgiving. The collective efforts of the leaders and the support from the local ministers ensured a memorable and impactful experience for all participants. We appreciate the District Superintendent for His Support and Prayers. We also thank every other leaders from outside and within.
