2O25 WECA CAMP MEETING - WORKERS CONFERENCE & FIRST SUNDAY SERVICE
WORKERS CONFERENCE - 8TH AUG 2025
It was a great start to the 2025 WECA camp meeting in Faith City, Igbesa. The Ministers’ and Workers’ Conference, preceding the camp meeting took place on August 8, 2025. It was a spiritually enriching gathering aimed at equipping ministers and workers for effective service in God’s vineyard. Participants from across the West and Central Africa District, as well as other regions, attended physically and virtually with the theme “Workers Together with God” (2 Corinthians 6:1-10). Physical attendance was 5,743. Materials from the minister’s manual, Sunday school teacher’s handbook as well as the Good Gospel Worker’s handbook, were used for edifying participants. A previous video recording of Bro. Olusola Adesope, Superintendent General, on “Servants of Jesus Christ” was also relayed to all the workers.

FIRST SUNDAY - 10TH AUG 2025
The first Sunday school began with an organ prelude and hymns. The Elementary Sunday school children from the Lagos Region presented an inspiring programme that was warmly received. In the Sunday school lesson titled An Exhortation to Praise God (Psalm 33:1-22), Brother Jide Onanuga explained the “how,” “why,” and “when” of praising God, encouraging the class to live a life of praise through biblical examples and testimonies. Sunday school attendance was 27, 864 for all classes

The morning devotional service featured orchestral and choral renditions, greetings from brethren worldwide, and an update on the campground building project. District Superintendent Brother Isaac Adigun preached a message titled Loose! Loose!! Loose!!! from Luke 13:12, assuring that Jesus sees every need and desires to set people free. Using supporting scriptures, he contrasted the bondage of sin with the liberty Christ offers and invited all to the altar to receive that freedom. Morning service attendance was 28, 710

The Youth Service commenced in the afternoon with vibrant congregational singing, special music, and testimonies of God’s grace from young people. The message, The Power of Spiritual Liberty, was delivered by Brother Benjamin Solarin, who encouraged the youth to embrace the freedom Christ gives and to live as witnesses in their schools, workplaces, and communities. He reminded them that youthful zeal must be anchored in holiness for it to have lasting impact.
The evening service included special music, a testimony service, and a sermon titled The Opening of Graves from Ezekiel 37:12, delivered by Brother Felix Udoh. Using the imagery of people trapped under ruins, he urged the congregation to call on Jesus for deliverance, assuring that He is able to set them free.
