DEC. 12th – 21st, 2025 REPORT

PREAMBLE

This year’s December Camp meeting at Akegbe-Ugwu (Enugu) has been very unique. For the first time in many years, delegates from all the five Areas in the East namely; Abia, Anambra, Amechi, Imo and Enugu gathered at Akegbe-Ugwu for a wonderful Spiritual Feast. This was preceded by a general work at the camp involving Amechi and Enugu Areas to prepare the ground through cleaning and clearing, repair of facilities (electrical, plumbing), roofing of two dormitories, grading of access road to the camp ground and the installation of twenty (20) solar panels through miraculous provision. All these were the result of united prayers, concerted efforts and dedicated commitment of the Area Overseers both in sensitizing and encouraging positive response.

 

MINISTERS AND WORKERS CONFERENCE

Friday – 12th December, 2025

On Friday 12th December, over 500 ministers and workers gathered at the Tabernacle for the Conference. The conference commenced with an organ prelude, choir rendition and congregational singing, followed by opening prayers. The Enugu Area Overseer welcomed participants and outlined the expected outcomes, emphasizing faithfulness and readiness for service. Several impactful teachings were delivered on Good Gospel Workers (Bro. Joe Onyeabor), General Instructions for Church Services (Bro. Peter Ejiakor), Ministerial Responsibilities (Bro. Jide Yesufu). The sessions underscored commitment, humility, discipline and spiritual integrity in ministry.

The presentation of Servant Leadership and Attributes of an Effective Minister by the S.G (Bro. Olusola Adesope) previously recorded was aired before we had a break. Sis. Racheal Chukwudube led a very inspiring session on Responsible Use of Social Media. A question-and-answer session addressed practical issues relating to stewardship, Christian conduct, relationships and family life. Attendance was 511

 

SATURDAY – 13TH DECEMBER, 2025

Sunday School Teacher’s Conference

The Elementary lesson review examined “The Sin That Could Not Be Hid,” highlighting God’s omniscience and the consequences of sin. The Adult lesson, “Moses Assumes His Responsibility,” was reviewed by Bro. Anayo Jonah (acting Overseer for Abia Area). He encouraged teachers to embrace God-given responsibilities with diligence and faith. Attendance was 222.

 

SUNDAY – 14TH DECEMBER, 2025

The Sunday Service began with organ prelude and congregational singing, followed by an inspiring presentation by the Elementary children from Enugu and Amechi Areas through songs, recitations and drama depicting the miraculous healing of Naaman. The congregation later broke into Sunday School classes to study “Moses Assumes His Responsibility,” with emphasis on obedience to God’s calling.

Goodwill Messages: From the D.S Bro. Isaac Adigun of WECA Headquarters, Bro. Boniface and Sis. Hope Osunkwo, AFC Millwaukee Wisconsin USA, Bro. Christopher and Sis. Nneka Odoh, AFC Jos Nigeria, were all received and delivered.

 

The Devotional Service featured choir and orchestra ministrations, Bible readings and a sermon titled “The God of Liberation is in Igboland,” by Bro. Emmanuel Moh, which highlighted God’s saving power and His work among His people. The sound of victory reverberated from the congregation Attendance was 2,004.

Music Concert

Later in the afternoon, the Camp Musical Concert was held, featuring choir and orchestra performances, including classical sacred pieces. Admonitions were given and guests were recognized, including the State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commander William Etim, who commended the choristers for the uplifting presentation. Attendance was 1,426.

MONDAY – 15TH DECEMBER, 2025

Bible Teaching and Film Show

The morning Bible Teaching featured worship, testimonies of God’s deliverance and special musical ministrations. The teaching on “The Three Steps” by Bro. Okechukwu Igwe (Zonal Coordinator of our Obeagu zone), clearly explained Salvation, Sanctification and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as essential experiences for every believer’s journey to heaven.

In the evening, a gospel film titled “Waiting For The Time” was shown. The film emphasized vigilance, spiritual discernment and dependence on the Holy Spirit. A strong altar response followed as many sought God in prayer.

Attendance was 517 and recorded blessings were Salvation – 57; Sanctification – 21; Holy Ghost Baptism – 5; Re-anointing – 39 Healing – 38; Other Blessings – 31 Total blessings -191.

 

TUESDAY – 16TH DECEMBER, 2025

Bible Teaching and Evening Service

The morning session opened with worship, testimonies and special songs. The Bible Teaching titled “Unity Without Compromise Built on Spiritual Integrity” was given by the D.S Representative Bro. Jide Yesufu (Head WECA Admin) emphasized holiness, godly standards and steadfastness, using biblical examples such as Job, Joseph, Moses and Daniel.

Attendance was 588 and recorded blessings were: Salvation: 21; Sanctification: 15; Holy Ghost Baptism: 8; Re-anointing: 14; Healing: 15; Other blessings: 17 Total blessings were 90.

The Evening Service conducted by Bro. Emma Egbo, a minister from Amechi Headquarters church titled “Something good will happen to You tonight,” encouraged faith and expectation in God’s transforming power. Attendance was 508 and recorded blessings were: Salvation: 18; Sanctification: 14; Holy Ghost Baptism: 9; Re-anointing: 32; Healing: 25; Other blessings: 34. Total blessings were 132

WEDNESDAY – 17TH DECEMBER, 2025 : Bible Teaching

The service began with worship, congregational singing and testimonies highlighting God’s healing power. The Bible Teaching on “Christian Forgiveness: A Necessity to Make Heaven” by Bro. Emmanuel Eluwa, stressed the importance of forgiving others as a commandment for all believers, regardless of circumstances. The service concluded with altar prayers as many sought God’s grace to obey His word. Attendance was 566 and recorded blessings were: Salvation – 14; Sanctification – 7 ; Holy Ghost Baptism – 5 ; Re-anointing – 13 ; Healing – 17 ; Other Blessings – 10. Total blessings were 66.

The Evening Service The officiating minister, Bro Samuel Emmanson preached on the topic, "Don't be angry with God". He admonished the church using the story of Mary, Martha and Lazarus in John 11 as a case study. He taught that in whatever situation we should always acknowledge God as God. Attendance was 452 and the recorded blessings were: Salvation – 14 ; Sanctification – 11 ; Holy Ghost Baptism – 10 ; Re-anointing – 11 ; Healing – 18 ; Other Blessings – 21. Total blessings were 85.

 

THURSDAY – 18TH DECEMBER, 2025

The last Bible Teaching was delivered by Bro. Peter Ejiakor, the Anambra Area Overseer, titled "Christian Perseverance And The Reward''. He taught that we are at a battle front here in this world as it is a constant battle between righteousness and unrighteousness. The Teacher noted that the Christian journey to heaven is one that must be tried but endure through it all, knowing that God is on your side, will yield a beautiful reward at the end-a crown of life, a white garment, and eternity with Jesus. Attendance was 569 and recorded blessings were: Salvation – 22 ; Sanctification – 20 ; Holy Ghost Baptism – 10 ; Re-anointing – 28 ; Healing – 25 ; Other Blessings – 21. Total blessings were 126

The Evening Service was conducted by the Jos Area Overseer, who is a son of the soil, Bro. Christopher Odoh, the sermon was titled " A message From The Dead To The Living". drawing his analogy from the case of Lazarus and the rich man

Attendance was 571 and recorded blessings were: Salvation – 18 ; Sanctification – 15 ; Holy Ghost

Baptism – 11 ; Re-anointing – 19 ; Healing – 17 ; Other Blessings – 18. Total blessings were 98.

 

FRIDAY 19/12/2025

REPORT FOR BAPTISMAL SERVICE

The Ordinance of Baptismal Service kicked off at exactly 9:28am with organ prelude and procession of ministers.

There were other opening formalities as usual before a short word of admonition with theme "Water Baptism" was delivered by Bro. Chinatu Elee, a Minister from Abia Area.

Using Colossians 2:12-15, Baptism was defined as an outward show of a spiritual work. The need and importance of water baptism was strictly emphasized as the congregation was also reminded that water baptism does not wash away sins.

At the end of the short word of admonition, the candidates were baptized in water, starting with the female folks and were followed suit by the male candidates.

A total of 96 candidates were baptized in water.

BAPTISMAL SERVICE IN PROGRESS

 

Attendance was 562 and recorded blessings were: Salvation – 5; Sanctification – 3; Holy Ghost Baptism –1 ; Re-anointing – 6 ;    Healing – 5 ; Other Blessings – 5. Total blessings were 25

YOUTH SERVICES

Three Youth services were held on Wednesday 17th, Friday 19th, Sunday 21st, 2025. Bro. Samuel Anih (Enugu Area Youth Leader) took the first youth service and spoke on ‘When Jesus comes’ attendance was 421 with 19 recorded blessings.

Sis. Precious Odiwonma the Abia Area Youth Leader took the second Youth service on Friday 19th preached on the topic, "Liberation Arena", Attendance was 408 with 28 Total blessings.

 

The Last Youth Service titled "An open cheque”, was conducted on Sunday afternoon by Bro. Samuel Egbo (Youth Head for Amechi Area) taking his Bible text from Mathew 7:7-11. He noted that nothing was too much for God to do.

REPORT OF OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

The Report of outreach activities during the one (1) week camp meeting December 2025 are as follows: Morning Campaign was carried out, street meetings were not very effective as planned due to inadequate availability of gospel van and choristers on those scheduled days. Not withstanding community in pact was conducted and some people were brought to church.

 

ORDINANCE SERVICE

One major highlight of this camp meeting was the ordinance service which commenced at exactly 4:00pm with an Organ Prelude/ministers procession. The choir began fully with a brass ensemble "Wonderful grace of Jesus", and "I can hear my saviour calling".

Bro. Emmanuel Urom (Zonal Coordinator for Afikpo) took the breaking of bread. "The Lord's supper", he said was strictly for the saints or family of God. There was a stern warning for anyone not qualified like debtors, sinners, those keeping malice, suspended or stepped down workers from partaking, as there are consequences for this as written in 1 Corinthians 22:27-30.

The ordinance of breaking of bread came to an end at 5:35pm and a short exhortation on "The washing of Saints feet" was delivered by Bro. Johnson Ugwu, a Minister from Enugu Area. This ordinance was described as a service of love, and joyful fellowship.

Attendance was 386.

CHARITY DAY/ FOOD BANK

Another significant highlight of the camp was the Charity Day/ Food Bank held in the afternoon of the last Saturday of the camp .With supplies of charity items coming from WECA, the Diaspora and many kind hearted saints, every single person in the camp went home with a gift. A miraculous provision of 300 (10kg) bags of rice and 200 tubers of yams ensured that delegates went away happy with Christmas provision that included clothing items, shoes etc. Even the women shared onions and other food condiments.

 

LAST SUNDAY OF CAMP MEETING 21/12/2025

Activities marking the end of campmeeting started with a Sunday School Service which commenced at about 8:30am.

The elementary children from Abia Area presented their programme titled, “Liberation”, depicting the story of blind Bartimaeus, who was liberated from blindness.

The Devotional Service commenced shortly with an Orchestration- Praise ye the Father and other choir songs.

The Amechi Area Overseer and Co-host of the Camp Meeting, Bro. Joseph Onyeabor preached the sermon on the topic 'The Church Militant' during which the congregation was charged to beware of the devil's antics and battles as we disperse to our various destinations. He assured the church of victory and captives to be drawn from the devil's territory if we are putting on the whole armour as a good soldier of Christ (Ephesians 6 Vs 10,11).

The sermon ended with a charge for the Congregation to make peace with the Lord so as to be enlisted as a Church Militant.

Attendance was 1,595 and the recorded blessings were: Salvation – 9 ; Sanctification – 7 ; Holy Ghost Baptism – 7 ; Re-anointing – 33 ; Healing – 34 ; Other Blessings – 42. Total blessings were 132

The Farewell Service started at exactly 4:00pm with an organ prelude and other opening sequence.

The people of God testified of the goodness of God especially in the just concluded Camp Meeting. The choir sang "He'll Answer Every Prayer" which ushered in the sermon.

The Sermon with the topic " The Divine Immunity" was preached by Bro. Ikechukwu Nnamene, with the bible text taken from matt 8:28.The Sermon ended by 4:49pm.

The attendance was 243 and blessings recorded were: Salvation – 8 ; Sanctification – 8 ; Holy Ghost Baptism – 5 ; Re-anointing – 20 ; Healing – 12 ; Other Blessings – 20. Total blessings were 73.

Final record of Blessings at the end of the Camp Meeting:

Salvation – 228

Sanctification – 147

Holy Ghost Baptism – 82

Re-anointing – 242

Healing – 233

Other Blessings – 265

Total blessings were 1, 197.

 

CONCLUSION AND APPRECIATION

We must place on record our sincere appreciation to the DS for obliging us with capacity building personnel support as well as prayers of our elders that made the camp meeting a huge success. The role of the Area Overseers, who worked with one mind was evident, which resulted in a peak attendance of 2,004, and recorded blessings of over a thousand speaks volumes.
