Protection against Sexual Immorality

Marriage will protect you against sexual immorality. The enemy of our soul likes to insult both men and women. He wants to make you ashamed but he will not succeed. You are a noble person, you are a special person,you are a child of God. You should do things decently and honourably.

"Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

“Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have their own husband.

"Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

“The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

“Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency”(1 Corinthians 7:1-5).

When you have decided to get married, you belong to your partner and everything should be done with mutual understanding. If you do not cherish the company of your wife, why did you marry? If you do not want the company of your husband, why did you marry? You have the option to marry or not If you do not marry, you have not committed any crime. But when you marry, you lose the authority over yourself. The husband belongs to the wife and the wife belongs to the husband. That is why the Bible enjoins:

“Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun”(Ecclesiastes 9:9).
