When a young man prays through to a lady, before telling anybody, he tells his pastor who is in a position to know whether or not the lady he has in mind is free. If the lady is free, the pastor will ask him to go back and pray more to have more proof from God that the lady is God's choice for him. If he comes back to confirm his conviction, then he will be officially allowed to go and approach the lady.

When the lady is approached, before talking to anybody about it, she should go to her pastor who will advise her to go and pray to know the mind of God about it. After sometime if the lady comes back to say yes to the proposal, the pastor will advise her again to go and pray for more proof from God, and if eventually she comes back and says yes,then the pastor will ask her to go and inform her parents. If the parents say yes, then she will be asked to go and give apositive answer to the young man. But if the parents sayno, the intending couple will either pray until the parentsof the lady agree or if the lady feels so inclined to herparents' stance, the proposal should be terminated.
