During the years 1955-1959 the campground underwent a change in the housing program. One by one, the tent frames came down. Carpenters went to work with hammers and saws – and the tents have been replaced by over 600 cabins, some single and some family size. The painters used pastel colors for the cabin exteriors, making a colorful little cabin city. Each unit is numbered and its occupants registered at the office. The rental fee for the duration – free! But only those of like faith and doctrine are privileged to camp.
