Keeping Marriage Vows

You have vowed at your wedding to love her with all your resources. If you fail to do so, you have fallen short of your vow. Yet, the man would expect he would get to Heaven. He cannot get there. These things may seem inconsequential to us, yet they are delicate. There are some women who think they could hide something from their husbands. Such women have been lost for long. Some keep wrong friends who advise them contrary to the will of God. We do warn those who want to get into wedlock that they cannot go to a brother or minister to share their burden. It is your pastor who will give account to God concerning your spiritual journey.

Therefore, if there be any problem, it is the pastor you have to confide in. If you fail to do so, when storms rage in your home, you would go from one error into another. Some would say they confided in some sisters in the church. What is their business with your family? God has not ordained that they be your teachers or counsellors. If you leak the secrets of your home to these people, you would destroy your home with your own hands. They are not God and God has not ordained that they teach or counsel you.

As co-heir, the man is incomplete without his wife. The issue embedded in marriage is deeper than you take it. May we not miss Heaven. If you want to do as your father and mother did it,you would rue it. This is because many of our parents did not have the privilege of hearing the teachings of God as you do and as such did not plan for Heaven. If your plan is to make Heaven at last, you must marry a woman who will make the Bible a companion. If you marry a woman who has no time for the Bible, you are finished. She would give you hell on earth and your minds can never be one.
