During the fifteen years that followed the dedication of the new headquarters, the enterprise of evangelism expanded at Sixth Avenue and Burnside Street to the extent that the whole building was needed for Gospel work.
By the year 1937 the property then evaluated at more than $200,000 was cleared of all its indebtedness. That same year the rented portion of the building was converted into space for additional church offices. At a later date the rented section of the annex was vacated and remodeled to provide more room on the first floor.
